Privacy Policy
What we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details you give us, such as your name and email address
- The videos and links you submit, and the transcripts and clips we create from them
- Instructions you type for the AI and the edits you make
- Basic technical data needed to run the service, such as browser type and error logs
- Billing details, handled by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers
How we use it
- To transcribe, analyze and edit your videos and deliver your clips
- To run, secure and improve the service
- To contact you about your account and, if you agree, about product news
Service providers
We use trusted providers for hosting, storage, payments and AI processing. Parts of your transcript may be sent to an AI language model provider to choose and describe clips. These providers may only use your data to deliver their service to us.
Retention
We keep your content only as long as needed to provide the service. You can delete your clips, or ask us to delete your account and content, at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to some uses. Email support@bolqan.com and we will help.
Connected accounts and YouTube
- If you turn on auto posting and connect a YouTube channel, Bolqan uses YouTube API Services. By connecting, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service www.youtube.com/t/terms, and Google handles your data under the Google Privacy Policy policies.google.com/privacy
- We only ask for what auto posting needs: your channel name and picture, so you can see which channel is connected, and permission to upload videos. We do not read, change or delete your other videos, comments or messages
- We only upload clips you made in Bolqan, at the times you choose in your schedule, and we show every post in your dashboard
- Your access is stored encrypted on our servers and is never shown in the browser. We delete it when you disconnect, and you can also remove Bolqan at any time in your Google account permissions myaccount.google.com/permissions
- Bolqan's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell this data or use it for ads
TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X
- If you connect a TikTok, Instagram, Facebook Page or X account, Bolqan only asks for what posting needs: your account name and picture, so you can see which account is connected, and permission to publish videos
- We only publish clips you made in Bolqan, on the accounts you pick, at the times you choose, and we show every post in your dashboard. We do not read your messages or change your profile
- Your access is stored encrypted on our servers and is never shown in the browser. We delete it when you remove the account, and you can also remove Bolqan in the settings of each platform
- Each platform handles your data under its own terms: TikTok www.tiktok.com/legal/privacy-policy, Meta for Instagram and Facebook www.facebook.com/privacy/policy, and X x.com/en/privacy. We do not sell this data or use it for ads
The Bolqan Connect browser extension (for Whop campaigns)
- The extension works only after you click Allow on the Whop page in Bolqan, and you can turn it off there or remove it from your browser at any time
- It opens only the Whop or Content Rewards campaign links that you send from Bolqan, in your own browser, and reads the text, links and campaign files on that page so Bolqan can follow the campaign rules
- It checks whether you are signed in to Whop by opening your Whop settings page in a hidden tab. It never reads, stores or sends your Whop password or cookies
- Campaign files are sent only to your own Bolqan campaign, with a link that works for 30 minutes and for that campaign only
- If you turn on “Submit to Whop by itself” for a campaign, the extension also submits your own posts to that campaign, in the campaign's own Submit window on Whop, with your Whop account: the link of each post Bolqan published for you, or, for campaigns that approve drafts first, the clip as a draft. On that campaign's Drafts page it reads only the status of the drafts Bolqan sent
- To do this while Bolqan is closed, the extension keeps a Bolqan key that works only for this, for 90 days, and stops at once when you click Turn off. About once a minute it asks Bolqan, over a safe connection (https), whether a post is waiting to be submitted
- We do not sell this data or use it for ads. It is used only to make, post and submit the videos you ask for
Security and fair use of the free plan
- To keep accounts safe and to give the free plan once per person, we check a few signals when you sign in: a random ID saved in your browser, a summary of your device and browser settings (such as screen size, graphics chip and time zone), your IP address, and whether it belongs to a VPN, proxy or data center
- We turn these signals into one-way codes on our server before we store them. We do not store your IP address, device details or browser details themselves, and the codes cannot be turned back into them
- We use these codes only for security and to stop the free plan from being used more than once. We do not use them for ads and we do not share them
- Your account itself works on any of your devices. If you think a check was wrong, write to us and we will fix it by hand
Children
Bolqan is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy we will post the new version here with a new date.
